MY LIFE IS THE CANVAS, WHICH THEY COLOURED WELL

This week we were given pictures and had to write on that basis. I was given this:

And it brought me thoughts on my own gems – my daughters.

First Love~an unconditional tale

Surrounded by shady green trees, the path laid with fallen leaves and yellow flowers, their path was looking like a flower bed and they held their hands and walked slowly down the lane. The fresh smell of flowers and freshness of greenery filled in the air. And the soft breeze was tantalizing. Walking down the lane, they talked and talked a lot about everything and anything around them.

They giggled,

They laughed,

They hugged and kissed each other so lovingly that one can never ever take their eyes off them.

Everyone gazed at them, as they passed by, their smiles were infectious. The joy of being together imprinted on their pretty faces.They went everywhere in each others company, every moment they spent together were so precious.They could never part their ways.

Their conversations were endless and always engaging. The smiles never faded on their faces, their love was inseparable and powerful. He called her princess all the time, and yes she was his princess forever. He knew how to keep her happy.

He was the happiest man on earth to have such a beautiful angel in his life. The moments they spend together inscribed as memories in his heart forever. If someone hurts her, it would be the last time they did that. The unconditional love was totally on him and he would do anything for her in the whole universe.

As they walked by these alluring streets holding their hands, he felt that the universe is blessing them all along. Suddenly she left his hand and ran off to the bridge, as something attracted her and she called out for him “be quick”. And there on the banks were beautiful white swans floating in those bluish green waters. Her excitement was endless, she jumped with happiness. As the swans move little further she was not able to watch it.

She held his hand and pulled, he just took her in his arms, like always. These sign languages were not something apart from their lives, he knew what she meant even if the words doesn’t flow.

He carried her in his arms, like a beautiful flower, and showed her the world around him. From the day one, she was born, she was being held in his arms, and she will be his little baby princess forever and ever. All the little girls treasure their dads as real heroes, as no one can replace that Hero in her life as he is her first love.

~~~~~Dedicated to all dads who is blessed with daughters~~~~
Patience pays
She waits all along for her dad to reach home ,and immediately he is in , she asks him, “where is chocolate ?” ,her dad as usual surprised looks at me , throwing a question at me through his looks ” why is she asking me , aren’t there chocolates here ? ” . And I smile at him , handing him a chocolate from the cupboard and give him a hint t give her ,as if he bought it.
I appreciate her patience to wait for it, even it is a simple chocolate , i know it means to her . Its sometimes good to develop such characteristics in them. But honestly its not just my effort as a parent even her teacher helped a lot.
It was difficult earlier to make her wait patiently for anything, she used to cry , shout , and try all her best tantrums on us , to get things done ,and parents like me, fall for all those tantrums, there is no escape.I didn’t know that requesting her to wait , will work out , but one fine day , to my surprise, she did behave as I  asked her to.
Even though I know that shouting at kids , or being strict doesn’t gain us any love and respect , my immature motherhood ,does it some times and I regret doing so . Nowadays am in control not to do such immature acts and show her what exactly maturity is through my love and respect and lots of patience.
Patience pays well , and it always pays the best.
I hate Goodbyes
Image
I am not so good at goodbyes.
Some partings …are helpful. ;)…and easy to say ..because its just getting rid of people…but some good byes are painful…because we don’t want to part with our loved ones.
My lovely lil daughter , is realizing the parting dilemmas , she is in a stage now to realize what exactly  ‘good byes’ mean. I have noticed  that , whenever she is back from her school,, and bids good byes to her friends , she hated it so much. She never wanted to be away from them, but later on things changed, she realized that its not a leave taking , but a small bye for a short time and she will be meeting them again.
Later she started to take such things lightly and enjoyed waving her hands to her friends to say good bye and meet them again later. Whenever her dad leaves for office , earlier she enjoyed to wave him bye-bye , but now , she knows that those bye-byes…. are meant for a little longer time for him to come back, ,and she will not get him to play with ,and now she likes to wait for her dad to be back home , she keeps checking the footsteps and keep asking me “who is coming” and waits for me to tell her that its her dad.
The same magic applied, ‘the wait for something ‘, when her grandparents left, we told her ,, in order for her to chat with them again, they have to go and so she consoled herself .
Its so appreciative to see kids admire people in their life and value them.
Bedtime story for mama :)
Image
Yea, that is true ,my cutie pie ,told me a story to put me to sleep .
I was down with headache and then I wanted to take rest, but not easier when my kid is around. Even then , I didn’t want to sleep before feeding her , at least she will let me take rest then. After I was done with her dinner , I went to bed , but due to pain forgot to tell her am going to sleep , and she was busy playing.
After five or ten minutes , I heard her call out for me. In one part , I was so happy to see that , she can never be without me, but on the other side , I wanted little bit of silence.Even then , she came over to me, looking for me all around the house. In spite of her dad telling her not to disturb me, she was adamant that she wanted to be with me. And of course I never denied , as my heart dominated me.
I tried to relax, but it was difficult ,as she was keeping on murmuring to me, hugging me with her one hand around my neck which anyways I was loving. She kept on telling me stories about her school, her favorite cartoon ‘peppa pig’ and doing magic in between like the princess Holly in ‘ben and holly’s lil kingdom’ .
I kept listening and listening, and in between her dad comes and tell her to be quite, and then she murmur in my ear ,still she didn’t want to stop it. And later the tittle-tattle  became louder, but I didn’t know when I drifted to sleep with her head resting on my shoulder.
Its a blessing that I have lovely, caring and wonderful daughter in the whole wide world. When I was struggling to relax, she relaxed my mind with her sweet stories. Love you always.
