Filling my voids

Closing my eyes,

all I see is you..

lingering around my skin…

like the honey bee for the honey…

and like a new flower blooming

I await you to slurp the nectar from me…

as you slowly land up on me..

I lay still, for you to explore the voids in me

to let you fill in…

as you fill the voids in my heart…

The wake-up call

As it dawns

I open my arms to the new day blessed to me

I wish I could be born every single day

every day a new me

a brighter me

to bring in new possibilities to live

to loosen me into the world that is grinding me

I want to be the butterfly flying from one flower to the other

treasuring the honey grabbed from each flower

I want to be the wind that moves

I want to be the water that nourishes the land

the new me wanted to be an explorer

living a day fulfilling my dreams

dance like the butterflies in the garden of love

I want to be carried away in the wind to any far off places

the wanderer in me is calling me out

I wish .. I just could wander away into the mist

hiding away from everything,

yet witnessing the most tranquilizing beauty

the explorer in me is longing to be out and about

the artist in me want to paint a picture that none has ever seen

the writer in me want to pen down all the wildest imaginations

Am like the life that want to spring out of the shell

explore the opportunities around me

and be an adventurer.

Their eyes met….in silence

It was her first day of college

she was shy, confused

she kept her eyes to the ground and walked to her class

her hair was untied and loosened floating in the air around her

dancing with the whispering wind

She went surpassing all the seniors to her class

her heart was beating profusely as she was approaching her class

It was a new place, new people

she sat at the edge of the bench, watching her classmates entering

all vague faces around her, only a few she had seen during the induction

suddenly her eyes feel on a person who was sitting on the bench, two benches away from her on the other edge

she sat keeping her head bend down, yet her eyes trying to focus on him

she smiled when their eyes met, and he smiled too

their eyes met silently and her heart felt like a blooming flower

his smile was infectious, that her face brightened up

she felt her nervousness had shattered away

their eyes played hide and seek

but were like magnets, kept on attracting each other

he slowly walked to her, and rested his hands on the desk and looked into her eyes

he asked in a husky voice ” What’s your name? “

and She smiled.

Family picture

My lovely daughter loves to draw a lot , whenever she gets a chance she scribbles something on her board and ask me to capture all those in my camera.

Even though I don’t need a camera to remember whatever she drew , I want to show it to her when she grows up. The other day , she drew a flower , i loved the way she was sketching it , truly her imagination works quite a lovely way. She drew a circle first and then , a lot many small circles around it connecting each other, and finally it became a flower. These things I never taught her , she must have observed  a lot from what others do , and of course this is the age for it, copying, imitating.

The other day she drew me and her dad ,  it was such a cute pic , I was smiling when she pointed me that one of them was me  and the other her dad.She was so happy and excited , to draw that picture.

Its so sweet how they realize a family ,consisting of her mom,dad and herself and very soon she would realize the importance of a family too.Family means everything ,it builds up relation with lots of love and respect.

We as parents need to teach them , to respect a family bonding , by showing them exactly what it means having a family.Family is not an important thing , but everything .
